Y-Cable Issues
Sorry if this is in the wrong place, wasn't sure whether to put this in Audio or Idrive!
I bought a used genuine Y Cable off of eBay and it was working at first, now it is very intermittent, when I plug it in to my iphone it will either work as normal or it will just switch from showing not supported to not connected on the idrive screen. If I only plug the cable in but nothing else it will say not connected if its working or not supported if its not. Has anyone had this before? Thanks |

I purchased a genuine BMW lightning Y-cable from ECS earlier this year, and it started intermittently working as well... But now it has stopped working completely. It will say that the selected track cannot be found when I plug my iPhone in. Cleaned all the connectors on my iPhone, car, and cable and still haven't found a fix. I'm using an iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 13.2.2 in a 2007 335i.
