SNL has been crap since Mad TV days. Their left bias is very evident. Same tired jokes over and over and far too political.

The few times recently it came on prime time (meaning I was still sorta awake) and I was so excited to see one of my favorite old shows. The News was about all I could watch. I was kinda up for watch Billie Ilish (however you spell it) and was sorely disappointed.

SO MANY memories, and 1-liners I still use to this day . . . Oh No, OHHHH!!!!!

Belushi doing "Samurai TV Repairman." "The Coneheads." The skit where Richard Pryor (that week's host) was interviewing for a job, and Chevy Chase was the interviewer. The "Cheeborger" skit about the Billy Goat Tavern some of the cast members used to eat at back in Chicago when they were in the Second City troupe. That shit was legitimately funny, and still is.

Oh, and "Point/Counterpoint" with Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtin.

By "that" do you mean Aykroyd's signature insult from that skit, "Jane, you ignorant slut."...?

It's heavily dependent on who's hosting. Chance was great a few weeks ago. Not all skits are funny but they never were. I still find something to laugh at every week so I still watch. I find Weekend Update to be very funny on a consistent basis.

The black guy on the Weekend Updates will probably be a lot more funny if his partner also a black guy. He seems a bit guarded and restraint next to the white guy. I don't think Trevor Noah will be that funny and insightful if he's sharing time with Jon Stewart.

See a black guy can really spice things up.
