Suspension mods to improve hard/drag launches?
With all the power that these N54's are able to put down pretty easily.....it seems like the 335i's just never "hook up" very well when trying to launch them hard (talking about the RWD models).
I've seen the diff braces that help to stiffen things up.....and swapping in an M3 LSD is a must, but are there any companies making aftermarket suspension component that aid in transferring weight to the rear of the car in order to make them hook up better?? Mustangs, Camaros, Vetts, GTO's,etc, etc all seem to have some good options for getting the rear suspension set up for hard launches at the drag strip. Is there anyone out there making parts like that for the 335i's? I'm sure the IRS setup makes it a little more difficult compared to a solid axle....

Silent11N54 has it down pretty good, fairly sure sticky tires and a 2nd gear launch(if automatic) is all you need.
Or just do it every time on the street with wore down run flat all seasons with an xdrive instead, lmao

These are extremely stout transmissions, one of the main reasons I bought my car is because I knew the driveline was stout.
Keep good fluid in it, maybe some fresh solenoids and im sure you'll never have an issue. Log your trans temps and lay off it over 210 degrees.

I love the DCT cars but i'd trust it way less than the torque converter ZF auto. Mine takes an absolute beating with a completely unknown maintenance history.
