"Majesty" eBay stepped IC logs VS stock and some questions

Hello everybody!
I made this thread because maybe someone is considering one of these and would like to see how they perform in the real world or are just curious if chinese stuff actually can do something for our cars, so basically there are 3 logs for the stock IC and 3 logs for the Majesty one (AKA G-speed, yellowspeed) the stock IC runs were made on Nov 23rd and the majesty on Nov 24th don't know if there were adaptions.
what was done in the runs:
- the first two were made in 3rd gear from 2000 rpm to 6000
- the last one was made in 4th in the same way from 2000 rpm to 6000
- all 6 runs were made on the same road and being made with just one day in between, luckily ambient temp was the same (15°C =59 F)
- you´ll have to excuse me as I used metric system on most of the data, except boost (PSI)
- No other changes were made to the car except the IC, same fuel on both days.

Car and mods:
- 2008 135i, 6 speed manual, with 85,000 kms ( 52.000 miles)
- don't know if the car has ever been walnut blasted
- OTS MHD stage 2 map for 93 oct
- ARM catless downpipes, secondary cats removed, stock catback with remus muffler
- stock airbox with stock panel filter
- eBay Majesty 5" stepped IC (second set of runs)
- 92 oct fuel used
- BMS chargepipe, stock diverters
- 6 new Eldor coilpacks with NGK SILZKBR8D8S 2 steps colder plugs gapped at 0.022" (these came on the car so don't know the mileage on them, just cleaned and gapped them)

You'll have to excuse me, I think I didn't log RPM for the first set of runs with the stock IC, these were the first logs I ever made so I'm still not very familiar with that, but all were made from 2000 rpm to 6000 with the pedal welded to the floor lol.

Overall I think the IC did its job, as my IATs were around 60°C by the end of the pulls with the stock IC, with the majesty I logged around 32° so around 15°C above ambient temps, is it an upgrade over stock? I think it does, could I have achieved better results with a big brand IC or the real Wagner?? mostly but considering that I did feel an improvement and for what I paid ($220 shipped and received in 4 days) it's an interesting deal.

Also, I did observe that I had timing corrections in all my runs except for the first with the upgraded IC, can someone please explain what's wrong with my car? is it that i'm using low quality fuel or lower oct for the map I loaded (92 vs the 93 requiered)? and also I have seen logs from other cars on this map and they target higher boost numbers, I was around high 14s and I can see my load numbers are lower than the target in all the runs, what doeas that mean? also another important factor I live in Mexico City, one of the highest on Earth, where I live its around 2,720 m above sea level (8900ft) so I don't know it that is affecting my targets?
Also, why are my AFRs so lean? is the map designed like that? I also have some codes on MHD but no CEL regarding fuel pump plausibility, don't know if it has somehting to do with my high AFRs

Thanks for any help and reading all of this.

Nice results! I'd be happy with that. Very similar to my 7" VRSF IC

Yeah i see the last MJ 3 where it pulls timing at the top end. Doesn't seem to bad and not consistent with the others earlier. I take you dont have access to 93+? You could putt a little e85 in there to raise the octane to see if it helps

Awesome! I'm glad I didn't purchase a complete piece of junk, I'll try to mix som ethanol to see if it improves or just "downgrade" to the 91 oct map.

I want to test the stage 2+ map but looking at how it can't cope even with stage 2 with IC with the 93 oct map I guess its definitely fuel related hope I can even break the 400hp barrier at the crank, i'll dyno the car next week and log there as well.

Whats the best ethanol mixture that I can run with ethanol without damaging the pumps or injectors on the regular fuel maps?

Any help from someone? or should I post this on the "look at my log thread"?

Post a log that includes your low pressure fuel pressures.

I'll check that option when I log today, I'll try RFPs OTS 93 stage 2+ and see how my car likes it, comparing both runs (stock vs majesty IC) looks like my runs with the stock one it was running richer on the top end, middle 11s low 12s, meanwhile with the upgraded IC I see lean numbers on all 3 runs, don't know if the car needs to adapt further, as the intercooler was just installed and taken out for logging, I may think it was leaner as there was "more" air or at least denser with the lower temps that's why my AFRs moved towards the lean side?
I'll try the FRP map and also reset fuel octane, and both LAMBDA adaptions to see if they improve, hope it's no boost leak related
