Angel Eye Issue

Ive got a 2011 E90
previous owner fitted LED Angel Eyes
Issue i have is if DRL is ticked in iDrive and lights are on Auto in daylight both Angel Eyes and Dipped Beams (and tail lights) are on.
If DRL is not ticked in iDrive and lights are on Auto in daylight nothing is on

Is this normal?

Yes that is normal for how the car was coded.

You can change the DRL behavior via coding.

ive looked at coding, looks very confusing so many different softwares

im coming from a ford baackground where you only needed forscan. whats the easyest route into coding? Ncsexpert?
