Coilovers
I currently have Kw1 coilovers on my e90 335xi Sedan and 1 of the shocks is blown and looking to upgrade to something more comfortable for daily driving. I live in the nyc area. Any suggestions for a better coilover setup? Wanted to get a swift spring upgrade but was told it's not compatible with the v1s. Thanks in Advance fellas!

I hope your car gets washed on the bottom weekly to get rid of salt there.
Lowering will only make it worse. I don't see any quality kits that will last you. I'm sticking to Bilstein B6. You can try the B8, that are shorter with springs. They will definitely lower the car. |

These seem to be a good buy based on my research |

No personal experience with the ISC N1 coilovers, but Grassroots Motorsports featured them in 2 articles (one on various suspension setups on track in a e90 335i) in their latest issue. Looks like 5 yr warranty, available for xdrive 3ers, and under $1k!

Ride comfort has to do with dampers and bump stops. If dampers resist too strong for your spring rate, you'll feel harshness. If springs are too weak or short and you run into bumps stops, and they are not progressive, you will feel harshness. Basically abruptly coming to a stop is how you feel up your bottoms.
