Do your Cerium Gray mirror covers, grills, and bumper inserts get extremely dirty?
Mine show water spots and get super dirty looking only one or two days after a wash..
Also my brakes produce so much brake dust that my wheels are completely covered after a week. Any products available to fix these issues? Armor All wheel protectant maybe?

I had my cerium gray mirrors covered with PPF and Both the mirrors front bumper vents and grill ceramic coated. This helps a lot. (FYI the whole car is Ceramic coated)

I ceramic coated it all and water just bleeds through and do not leave any spots.
I recommend giving ceramic coating a try.

I've ceramic coated my car. Zero water spot issues with the cerium gray. It just wipes clean.
Before the ceramic coating the CG had me worried that it was gonna be a pain to keep clean |

Armor all wheel protectant works well. It does not completely stop the wheels from getting dirty but it makes cleaning them easier. No chemicals or even water needed just a microfiber towel needed.

Seriously even if you don't want to spend the money to get the entire car ceramic coated, just get those pieces! You'll never have to worry about water spots or discolouration again. I actually like the cerium vs the black grill and other bits, so this was a must. I didn't want that old rusted spotty look.

Check it out, it's not bad.
Is anyone going to post pics of these dirty parts and how they hold up with the suggestions mentioned? I just wiped mine the last time I washed it with a quick detailer spray from Maguiers. Let's see how it holds up and I'll take pics when it gets dirty. Last edited by JoCamp; 12-18-2019 at 02:16 PM.. |

I wouldn't rub dirt into a protected surface. Same way you wouldn't do it on your paint. Pressure washer, soap, and some wheel detailing brushes is all you need for a great looking wheel. |

Ceramic coating works, but I changed mirror caps and grill to black. I ceramic the windshield trim and of course the wheels
