Safe Tire Pressure
Hey,
I was at the Motorsports NE autocross at Giants Stadium yesterday and I was pretty happy with my tires for stock RFT. I have them at 37 lbs all around right now but I'd like to induce a bit more oversteer. Would it be safe to go to 39 or 40 lbs up front? Thanks, Dave

tire pressure is very tricky. first you need to find the ideal psi for traction - say its 38. if you go higher you loose traction - if you go lower you loose traction. so if 38 is found to be ideal you could go F/R 38/40 or 38/36 and both will give you oversteer. either one you are lessening the rear traction.
some prefer more in the back for autocross as the rear tires are stiffer and break away quicker . for road course you would lower the back as the rears are then softer and more progressive, more slip angle to work with. it takes a lot of experiementation.
