Today was one of the many highlights I have experienced so far. My landlord here in Germany always talked about his pride and joy Clenet and I always told him I would love to see it someday. Well, my wife and I are in the hotel (1 week until we had back to the states) and he calls us up in the room. The weather was great today so he decided to pick us up in his Clenet and take us for lunch and coffee. So we wait and here comes this massive massive car...IT'S DIRK, our landlord. Well, I found out it is a 1980 Series II Clenet, 5.7L that was originally owned by Stephen Spielberg (even had the gold Clenet bar stating him as the owner). Man, what a car and what a day. We got WAY more looks in this car then any modern day car would ever get. I told him if he ever decides to sell it, I get first chance...and he promised.
