what? I'm hooked....I want one bad. Not going to get one now, but I would love to have it.
sick car. Just sick. Rock everything on the road except MAYBE an enzo and koenigsigg (sp?). A few tweaks and it'll just be a killer. check out this video of high speed testing. the other cars on the track look like road blocks! The car hit a VBOX indicated 206mph on this test.....this was a GM test too. http://www.corvetteconti.com/blog/wp...r1-ncm2008.wmv yup.....not appealing

Any car that can accelerate from 130mph to 200mph that fast is pure beast.
That's similar to an e90 going from 30mph-100mph. ________ Sohc V6 Engine Last edited by HappyG; 03-08-2011 at 10:12 AM.. |

I love the car, but... RWD + light weight + 640 hp + non-proffessional driver = ONWED!!!

yup! I hope they put in a VERY good traction control system. We are going to see some bad accidents with these cars. However people will crash doing what they love!

I'm sure that if I was ever to get behind the wheel of this thing I'd be in love, but until that day I'm just not "into" it.

From what I heard the car is computer limited to 210mph and that the car actually reached 208mph. The 205 reading was the average of the runs.

Chevy really wanted to hit one out of the park with the ZR-1 and man did they ever. This car is unreal. I'd love to just hear one in real life.

I cant wait to see one of these on the road or at our next MIR track rental. I know this one guy that will certainly buy one. At the last rental he showed up w/ 3 different car trailers. Inside was a GT2 w/ tuning, a stock C6 Z06, and a tuned Ford GT w/ 700hp. He simply has to buy this car to complete his collection of ridiculously fast modern muscle.
fyi-he ran 11.0x w/ his bone stock Z06, 11.2-11.3 in the GT2.....he can DRIVE. no matter what he tried, he couldnt get the GT into the 10's...I remember that making him really mad.
