Good News!!! JB1 is verified to work with new production cars with "tuner protection"

Just heard from Terry the good news for all.

The JB1 is verified to work with newer production cars that have the v81 DME (tuner protection).

Also they are working on the JB2 as we speak!

This should be a relief to those who plan on getting a 335 or 135 and want a tune for it!

and a little FYI those with the 135...the BMS intake system fits on the 135 as well!

thought I would share the info with everyone!

Did they have to change anything on the JB1 for it to work or was it good to go?

Let me get this straight. BMW actually modified their ECU to specifically block aftermarket tuners?
