What's it like being an Astros fan right now?

I'm from Houston but have lived in Seattle for almost 10 years now. I grew up being a Mariners fan because of Ken Griffey Jr, Edgar Martinez, Randy Johnson, Jay Buhner, Alex Rodriguez, Felix Hernandez, etc.

Even with the sign stealing scandal, it's better being an Astros fan than being a Mariners fan. The Mariners haven't been to the playoffs since 2001.

Honestly? Being a Houston sports fan in general is a little bit like jumping into a bathtub with a plugged in toaster.....so the Astros thing is pretty easy

Plus, the Astros were sooooo bad for quite a while. It's honestly nice to be relevant again (if we weren't good, people wouldn't hate us so much....even before the cheating came to light). The team is still good, they're still fun to watch, and they still play damn good baseball......I'm still going to enjoy this season

I'm guessing the Astros fans will dispense with the inflatables and hit two metal pipes together next season.
