Windshield Washer not working, headlight washer is

Hey guys... First post and forgive me if this is already in the forums, but I can’t seem to find my issue anywhere. Last summer I bought my 08 335xi and I bought is as is with the windshield washer not working. Im just starting to get into doing small repairs myself to save some extra money from the mechanics.

My issue is this: When I use the sprayer, the headlight washer comes out and rinses, I hear the mechanical whirring for the windshield washers and the wipers start moving but nothing comes out of the windshield washers.

If anyone has had this issue or can point to a video/other forum that this has already been discussed that would be amazing!

Try a search. It's usually a build up of crud in the washer pump filter. There's how to's on YouTube...
