Don't have the spare DPF to offer but want to understand WTF you're doing. Adding back DPF with intentions of having regens or gutting out the particulate filter and keeping the DOC? The DOC works better than any aftermarket cat in my experience. I've been running gutted for about 3 yrs 2 months. I converted back from non catted DP to get noise down as i have a straight through exhaust. 'Splain Lucy?

I’m moving from a state that didn’t require emissions to one that does, CO.. I heard they do obd and sniff tailpipe, I’m just gonna try to see if if I put in a DPF will it work or not... egr isn’t an emissions thing IMO maybe I’m wrong but who gives a f about how much O2 have been reduced, how would they measure to that degree...
I’ve been deleted since 44k, I’m at 75k now and 3 years into it.. |

EGR definitely is an emissions thing, certainly. It's not about O2, it's about NOx. I've no idea how to measure it, or if/how it'd be measured for your emissions test, but it's definitely only there to reduce harmful emissions.
