I live in Hawthorne, with my girlfriend, and she commutes to Century City every morning. The commute isn't bad for her because she leaves for work at 5:30 in the morning, and she gets off by 2:30. If those are your hours, I suggest you look as far south as Torrance, Westchester, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach. If you've got regular hours like I do (8:30 - 5:30), then forget it... it's at least an hour up the 405 to Century City, both ways in the morning. Too bad there aren't any openings in my building. Our rent is $900 for a two bedroom.

Welcome Ming, I'm sure we'll meet soon enough. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of work is bringing you out here?
