Insurance between e90, e92?
Is it true that it's more expensive to insure the e92 335i than the e90? I heard thats the case between the G35 coupe and sedan. Anyone care to enlighten me on this? Thanks.

The difference should be negligible at best. Both the coupe and the sedan have the same ISO rating symbol (at least for the 06 330i - I don't have the 2007 or 2008 symbols for some reason. I wouldn't anticipate much has changed).
The G35 coupe and sedan do have different symbols, which means the coupe would be a bit more to insure - not night and day, though. The rationale behind any rating difference would be based on the demographic that frequents a coupe over a sedan. Those that favor a coupe will generally have sportier intentions and are typically younger than those who go with the sedan and that is usually reflected in their driving. |
