Its not that Im really need of a set, for I have 2 great wheel sets.

I can only afford a little under average price for those, my budget is $400-500. Im just thinking of maybe getting those 156 takeoffs for track this summer.

Are you looking just for tires? I have a set of 4 tires that have 15k on them. Front ones were feathering and I stuck a deal with dealer to pay 1/2 of replacement. Tires are in good condition, no fixes, etc. BUT the front ones have some feathering. The only ill effect of the feathering was excessive noise. But if you are using them for the track, I don't think it would really matter. If you are just looking for tires, I'm sure we could make a deal. Oh and by the way, the tires had little over 1/2 of tread life left.

156's for track use? isnt that a littel counterproductive???

use the 161's for track... the staggered setup will help out tremendously...

At any rate... I know someone wants to sell him their 156's

I was thinking about that...maybe we can team up...we already have matching cars and all that (SG, non-ZSp, Step, Blacklines & 156s!) All I need is the OEM spoiler and I am all set We can be Team SG!!

yup no problem, we'll talk about it at our meet.
Im thinking highway driver safety crse first then move up, as per suggestion of our bmwcca nat'l capital region rep.

wat i think it productive to plan our e90 meets around bmwcca events. (or others like Currys)

Have the first part of the meet for new guys and their new cars, brag time, mod talk and choose the car of the meet winner.

the second part should, aside from eats, should be for more senior guys interest, like BMWCCA event or group mods, or other matters like your suggested Currys events.

you re doing a good job updating the list.

Ase2dais: Hey I'm in for the course. I think Bav would be interested as well, if he has the time. I think we spoke about it the last time we met up.

Still thinking of ideas for the meet. Its hard to get everyone together!!! How'd you guys pull it off, the last time, and where's the original crew?

I agree, coinciding with BMW CCA events would be great ... I think the rest of the folks can benefit from the technical knowledge that can be learnt.
