**Urgent battery help needed!**
Hi folks,
I have an E93 which was running fine and then I popped to the shops came out and it wouldn't start. I checked the battery to discover there was a fair amount of water in the battery compartment which seems to be a common fault anyway I called the AA and he came and did various tests and confirmed that the issue was that the battery wasnt receiving any charge so I think the issue could be that one of the 2 cables that run from the battery compartment through the body have corroded as this was the problem with a few other threads i saw. People have just cut the corroded section of the cable off and re crimped it but I have no confidence with electrics!! Was just wondering if anyone could be a star and help me out around the Birmingham area? Thanks alot |
