I have a 2008 328xi E92 with Idrive Nav screen, Is it possible to replace the radio for a single or double din and keep the Idrive Nav screen functional? I Believe i have HIFi sound system not logic 7. The main reason for wanting a aftermarket headunit is because this headunit distorts at low volume and i just want better sound.

If you want better sound the speakers and amp must be changed
in a Hi Fi system to get that.

I am planning on changing my amp too, but is it possible to add a head unit and still keep the Idrive Nav screen functional?

I wrapped the trim myself, it is starting to go bad its over a year old, I'm planning on changing it to black carbon fiber, i chose white at first because i never seen anyone with white carbon fiber so i wanted to be different lol. Wrap is from metrorestyling.com
