Is this the new revision pod, or the original that was slightly off?

Yup this is the newer revision. I fixed a meshing issue so the pod itself is smooth all around and doesn't have those rough lines going through it. The pod is also angled up and towards the driver (though I still think it could be tilted towards the driver a bit more). The vent grates were also made thicker to closer match the original OEM vent. Also changed the bottom tabs a bit to make installation a little easier

Ah yes, the angle IS better & curvature of base is much better & fits in cavity as the OEM now with no gap

Sorry it got taken down a while back because it had BMW in the title and I never got around to fixing that. It should be back up now.

Yes, the original vent is the same across all the E90, E91 and E92.

I was look into this also.. I am just going to make my own with some epoxy and a housing like https://www.glowshiftdirect.com/univ...EaAoXvEALw_wcB
Shouldn't be too hard.. It will be similar to this one..
https://www.shapeways.com/product/5P...ionId=78423787
But that is only 45mm .. The gauge I want is 52mm so looks like I will be making one..

Not exactly what you're looking for but this worked for me with some modification. ID is 51.5mm.

It comes with very thin double-sided tape. It's really strong.
