Look what I got!!

I know that it is not the most expensive wax (or best)

But ever since they stopped making it, people have had to import it or just miss it!

I had been trying to find some (since people always talked about how good it was) when i found ADHD was selling some on another forum we both also hang out in! He was only selling 1 but I told him i would buy everything he had of it!! So thanks again to ADHD and I will be using it on some of my customers cars!!

Ehhh! I bought into a can 2 years ago when they stopped making it. I thought it was gonna be a big hit. It wasn't. I think the fact that they stopped selling it here in the states, made it that much more desirable. Its pretty durable for a carnuaba paste. I get something like 8 weeks, but I call it quits on a wax when it officially stops beading like it should and shows any sign of weekness. It has an ok " candy shell" look, but there are just better products out there.

It is the best carnuba going, the problem is synthetics are where the market is going.

Beading water has nothing to do with protection. Old wives tale there. All it says is that the is sufficient surface tension. My TL will bead, the wax is well gone months ago.

The squeeky towel technique is better.

I still have a can of #16, well done OP!

Not true. There is different types of beading when it comes to products. Of course I don't use beading as my only clasifications. I use beading, sheeting, squeeky towel, looks, and slickness. If I get super tight beads off #16, and after 2 months, the beads are no longer tight and small but larger and such, I will use that as a way of letting me know, the wax is beginning to degrade off the surface and its time to reapply.

Some people wash their cars after polishing but before applying protection and see tons of beads. They "think" the car is beading with nothing on it, but polishing oils and lubricants are still present causing that surface tension. One wipe with Prep-sol and it just sits and lingers on the paint instead of beading.

*Ofcourse, consideration needs to be taken into account for products designed not to bead, but rather sheet water off. #21, after 2-3 weeks, begins to sheet water in an incredible way.

Very nice. I've never used #16, but use #26 regularly. Wonder how they compare?

So it is going to be a while before I buy any more wax (to use on my regular customers cars)!

I am sure I will continue to try new waxes for myself though!
