How long before a u-joint should be replaced?
My 07' 335i has around 100K miles on it. What's the normal life of the driveshaft u-joint and carrier bearing? Is it a good idea to replace them both, or are they good for a lot more miles? While I'm at it...what about the giubo (flex jpoint)?
I'm getting a little vibration at slower speeds under acceleration that I can now feel in the back of the car after I did my Whiteline rear subframe bushing install....I'm thinking that now without all of the flex of the stock bushings that were soaking up all of that vibration, I can start to feel it. The u-joint, carrier bearing, and giubo are the only parts I can think that would cause the vibration I'm feeling. At highway speeds everything is smooth as can be....I can feel he vibration when accelerating around 15-25mph.

Those symptoms are consistent with what I experienced when I had a bad carrier support bearing, but mine was also somehow installed upside down. I had some pretty intense vibration at low speed acceleration.
