After update navigation (CIC) it stays on initialising navigation system

It goes like this...
E91 12/2009
CIC Navigation Premium Europe West 2020-1 3XUSB
After inserting the volume 1 of navigation USB (3xusb) and entering a lifetime code that was accepted, the system updated to 100% with just 1usb disk, instead of the usual 3usb's.
The system rebooted and I have radio, multimedia, cell phone, Bluetooth.
But, when I tried to go to navigation menu, it stays there with a revolving circle saying initialising navigation... And stays that way...
I think I made a big....
Is there any way to force the update again, or using the e-net cable that I used before to get the file to generate successfully the key, and putting the navigation files in the right place...
Any help, please. My wife is about to kill me.

Thanks in advance.

Update:
After the night the navigation option just turned grey and unselectable...
if the idrive shortcut button on the center console is pressed it appears an information "Navigation temporarily unavailable..." in the screen

the nav greyed out basically means it can't get to the map data, same if you remove the hard drive it will look like that.

Obviously something went wrong updating the maps as it never finished, I would recommend doing the 1xUSB method, get a 32gb usb or a larger one and format a 32gb partition on it, put the update on it and put it in the car and let it to the update again off a single usb, it should not ask for the FSC code as it already has the lifetime and it should update when it sees the USB even in the state it is in.

OK that did it, after all, it was so simple. It just asked me that the data from the usb wasn't newer than the system, and after pressing OK it just started updating from 16,8% onwards.
Many thanks.

Now i can rest and think about what i will do with the FRM3 module malfunction...

Hello, I also have a problem with my navigation system.
After the update to version 2020-1, my maps are black. I have already installed the update again, several times.
Tried older versions too, but that didn't work either.
I cloned the disk and swapped it to an SSD (as described by Jaeger in this forum) but also nothing.

Maybe someone of you has an idea?
