Wow that looks like a really small engine. Their own 9 speed gearbox already is really small and light, and together with this tiny engine its a really light package. Not having camshafts/distribution it looks a bit like a 2 stroke

They should fit that in a radical or so (or some other sub600kg chassis )

I think that that's also the main difference between Koenigsegg and a brand like Bugatti.
Bugatti is run by a large multinational and not an excentric genius that has his own vision, ideas and drive.
At Bugatti they just ring up Ricardo (famous drivetrain company) and order their gearbox.
But with Koenigsegg, it's HIS brand, HIS car, HIS name and therefore CvK has the drive to try and get the maximum out of his designs and ideas and put it into his product.
The innovations CvK comes up with and puts in his cars, with a tiny company (compared to VAG) that also turns a profit (in contrary to Bugatti) are of a much much higher standard (and also more in numbers) than Bugatti.
And that's an exceptional efford.

Because they have full control of the valves, yes...but I don't think it would breathe very well even compared with a conventional 2 stroke due to port locations...I could be completely wrong.

That 3 cylinder engine weighs like many sportbike engines if i read it right. Curious how much power it would make without turbos, could still be decent power. Maybe even too much for a motorcycle

Working at my current job, it will take approximately 47 years to pay it off if I were to live in my car and assuming no interest of course.

So let's say $1,500,000. Luckily it is a four seater. Now I just need to find three rich guys to pitch in ~$500k each with me.

Visually, I am not that into it though. But the features make up for it.
