I had a custom tune on cobb with PTF, I'll have to see if he can custom my MHD tune to allow this in the software or get a dp fix then if this stage 0 doesn't work out for me. I'm not even sure if the evaporative system is part of the obd2 scan, but as its showing on the codes as part of the readiness.. assuming it is and I'd still fail at this point.
I had to fill up my gas tank to pass that one. Guy at the station told me to try it and it worked

PASSED!

Followed this drive cycle procedure on map 0 (to the best of abilities due to traffic) that Jeff had posted: (Thanks Jeff!)
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...05&postcount=3

Cold start idle for 2.5 min, drove for ~25 min under 3k RPM and under 60 mph, then idled in gear (lame on a manual haha) for 5+ min. Restarted the car after some groceries and the evaporative system was complete. Oxygen sensor still showed incomplete but who cares, allowed 1 not ready.

Thank you everyone for your help!!

In fact many of the OTS OFT tunes that also work with MHD will allow for full readiness unless you disable the codes. In fact I'm almost positive the OP's issue isn't with the tune, it's probably with how he's doing drive cycles. I don't think the MHD OTS tunes mess with lean cruise, which causes issues with O2 readiness.

You don't need a dpfix or a stock map or a custom map for the OP to pass. Some people might, but this thread isn't for someone in cali or wherever they need full readiness. Flashing to stock could cause him to fail cat readiness = fail test, and would reset all his monitors and he'd still have issues with his drive cycle. It's not helpful. Not trying to be a dick but I'm a stickler for details versus generalizations.
That's a fair response but you didn't say all that in the beginning.

My answer was a generalization that could potentially help a larger portion of people, especially those who need full readiness. Your answer although not mentioned until now was just specific to the OP.

I'm still a firm believer that your blanket statement of "you're wrong" was a bit over zealous. Perhaps adding in your stipulation of specifics in addition would have been sufficient.

Now we are just confusing people and having them read more and more into it. Admittedly I could have been even more specific to just the OP perhaps but as you said, we don't know what's going on with the car and drive cycles don't appear to be completed. My answer was bullet proof in the fact that it will work. You are simply offering the short cut in the ideal scenario.

6 way, half a dozen the other way.

Although after being on forums for nearly 15 years, no answer is ever enough for people. Some people just like to argue about nothing.

One in Maryland...

See: http://www.mde.state.md.us/assets/do...RepairCare.pdf

Hint: self serve is best...

The O2 sensors MUST show complete to pass though evaporative can show incomplete.

There are posts here indicating that O2 can be incomplete and accepted but that is not true...

Bumping my thread to let you guys know I just passed smog check w/o doing the drive cycle. Flashed to stage 0 MHD last week and was just driving the car normally... not flooring it, didnt go above 80 on highway etc. MHD kept the cel off and I had all monitors ready for a few days now except the one for o2 sensors.
