I have a 2006 325i with angeleyes and would like to activate the drl angel eyes and the dealer quoted me 60$ just to do this any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

do you have idrive?? if so check thru the options on there. if you have a pre sept model e90, then it can only be done thru the dealer. also the angel eyes wont be teh daytime running lights. the inner lights will be your daytime running lights.

There's no such thing as DRL angel eyes on the E90....isn't it? My DRL isn't the angel eyes.

ok how do I activate any kind of drl without paying a hour of service to bmw

you must have a pre sept model car. i have a pre sept model car and it isnt an option in lighting on the idrive. you need to get it done thru your dealer. the dealer activated mine on an update, wheni specifically told them i do not want it activated. i brought it back for them to deactivate. you can get it activated without paying for service; unless your service dept is very strict.

try to push the turn signal button , it might show up on the screen on ur dashboard.

i think its somewhere in the menu on the odometer, from what i rememeber you push the button that brings up the menu in the odometer....then scroll through it... and i think once you get to the picture with the key and the check, you push the same button you use to get to the menu.....then scroll around that list and it should be the picture with the sun and headlight symbol....
