I am trying to install an aftermarket 4" speaker to the rear, but BMW uses a strange 3 pts mount screw for the speaker. I can't find a place to sell an adapter.... anyone know??????? help please.

Two of the three holes/threads in the stock mount line up with two of the 90 degree standard holes in an aftermarket speaker- i.e. the three holes are not symetrically spaced. You can hold the speaker by using two bolts in the door directly, and clamping to the speaker frame with a large washer from the third. At least there are pictures on the forum that show it. Several other pictures in various threads show MDF adapters made that fit to the back of the new speaker frame.

it just that on Crutchfield, I see several adaptor for 3bolt to 4bolts.

But they are for american cars, and none is listed for BMW.
I tought that some of those adaptor will fit, I just do not know which model...
