Bluetooth/Canada
Is bluetooth available in Canada? If so, is it only with Premium Pkg?
I see no mention of bluetooth on the bmw.ca website. Also, anybody know if Comfort Access is detined for Canada this year? |

you get bluetooth if you order BMW assist or Nav. I'm bumbed that it has to be a factory order or you're fu*ed. I want it but no dealer installs at this time. - so I'm told.

bmw is an option at the bmw.ca website. it's the last on the list on the packages and options page when you do the build your own car thing ($1100). just picked mine up today. my phone is a sonyericsson k700i and it works great. the voice dialling feature is especially awsome. don't spend the money on NAV. get the assist. you won't regret it. |

My dealer, Open Road BMW in Newmarker, confirmed today that Bluetooth can be dealer installed for approx. $1,000.00 CDN
Note this is on a Canadian Car without BMW Assist. Hope he is right as I will probably have it installed. I would think this is a necessity if you have Manual Trans. I have the Nav package but not BMW Assist.

My salesman was wrong.
You have to have BMW Assist to get Bluetooth, even if you have Nav. At this time, it cannot be dealer installed.
