Bump for a good deal. I also refinished my Spec SMFW, it was steel however not aluminum, when replacing my motor and it works as good as new. When I emailed Spec prior to resurfacing it they said "it is made to be resurfaced many times" so this is a good deal imo. I think it cost me ~$50 to get it resurfaced locally.
