Going to quad tip exhaust

I have a 2011 335is E92 and I just purchased a carbon fiber quad tip lower valence for my MTech bumper. What size tips will I need? Should I get the ones that slip over the stock or the ones that you have to cut off and weld in place?

I purchased the ones that you weld in place. Cost me about $100 to have a shop weld them in. And I purchased the 3" diameter slash cut tips and they looked great.

Yea man those look really clean. Do they touch the bumper at all?

Can this fit the e90/M3 replica bumper?

I guess the question of the day is??

Is the quad tip insert on the m-sport/m-tech bumper the same length in between as the M3 replica bumper?

Did you use the stock mufflers?

I'm not exactly sure if they'll fit an e90/M3 replica bumper but I'll venture to say it will. Considering stock M3 exhaust tips were 71mm and the one I had were 76mm.

I'm not sure if the distance between the quad tips on my e92 are the same distance apart as they are on an m3 bumper as I never compared.

I did use the stock mufflers.

They did not touch the bumper. The top of the tips were close to the diffuser, but I drove the car hard and definitely heated up the tips and I had no paint issues or melting of the diffuser

Please take a picture of the underneath of the car where the mufflers & exhaust tips meet / via rear portion of the bumper.

I want to see where the muffler shop installed the tips & bent the exhaust pipe from the center towards the outer part of each muffler. I'm guessing you have some sort of "S" shaped pipe going from each quad tip to the muffler(s)????

I have some sort of bend from the muffler to the tips in order to get it to work. I don't own the car anymore, as I sold it to my friend. I can see if I can get a picture of the muffler area when I see him

Yep I do but the forum doesn't allow any posting of URLs I guess as they block it everytime I try. Just go to **********s (dot) com and put your car info in and you'll find the part you want under the "rear diffusers" tab.

I know this thread is a little old but does anyone know if there is a catback or muffler system that will bolt up to my 335i and have the right spacing for my M3 bumper?
