user adjustable settings q

When upping the percents using 93 octane. Should i put 92 accross the board of rpms ? I dont have boost gauge installed yet either. When i did the adjusting i put 92 for a bit then 93 then back to 91 .. runs fast but i got limp mode... Im thinking i did it wrong.

The general rule of thumb for the PROcede's UT settings and octane is this:

For whatever octane your running (at least a minimum of 91 of course), set the UT settings 1% over the octane. So if your running 93 octane. . . . you could set the UT setting to 94% across the board (but I'm just not the type to push it that far, so personally, I dont advise it). And you REALLY need to monitor your boost before you make any such changes to the UT settings. The PROcede Reader software has booth a data logging feature, and a real time PSI gauge. You need to at least hook up your lap top to the procede and go out for a spin while keeping the procede online and the lap top in your car (run the serial cable wire through the window) to see what your boost at.

What type of gas are you pumping? Hopefully only Shell, 76, and Sunoco. I know that there has been talk about the procede being sensitive to poor gas quality. The only time I've pumped anything but shell was last week when I pumped some Chevron and threw a limp mode for the first time. Hasn't happened before, hasn't happened since.

Oh, haha, and how cool. . . you've got a 535i. I've yet to come across a procede'd 535i, I think thats rad hah.
