why do you have to tap into the battery for power? isn't this powered by the factory fog wire?

10/06 e92 build, will it work, anyone try it? because dhp is gonna say it'll work guaranteed or money back, just looking to see if anyone has any of the first build e92s with these fogs in

without doing so.......the HID fogs will flicker and blackout........

Thanks for DHP and HIDOUTLET's support on installing the XENON HID in my 2006 BMW 323i E90. I purchased a set of XENON HID and the relay kit and there is no error at all! Very happy with my purchase! Here are some pictures of my car with the HID! enjoy~
