E90 LCI LED Angel Eyes, Valeo light upgrade, 09+

This thread may be long dead but I have a couple questions.

Are the 8500's listed in this thread the zenons that will "blind" other drivers since we have halogen housings? I wouldnt want to put in lights that make the car look like a Dbag.

Thanks guys... are 8500's still recommended for the 2011 LCI halogen upgrade?

I ordered a pair of eBay LED's, waiting for them to arrive. Will post the final results, hope it works!

Edit: they are now installed! Substantially brighter than stock and pure white color. Love it!
