match PP86DSP /BimmerTech/ or Audison 4.9 bit
someone if they can give an opinion on the mentioned amp match PP 86DSP /BimmerTech/ or Audison 4.9 bit
just this BimmerTech Premium Audio System in 55Wx4ohm isn't it a little weak ? let's not mention the difference in channels but the quality of the DSP itself |

You can get the 86dsp directly from Helix audiotec/fisher also its
8 channels . I think the DSP is more advanced and well supported in the Helix. Just look on the audiotec fisher site. The audison is only 4 channels. Also there is the BMW 7 from Helix if you want more power. |

It's been a few years on here since anybody has spent any
money on anything but a cheap ass Android Chinese head unit. The audison's had been lagging on output power and versatility for a long time. |

I Have the Bimmer Tech amp with Bav Sound Stage one speakers in front mids and tweets and rear mids. Have the Bav Sound underseat Mid woofers I'll call them and then I added a Hertz Dual Coil 8" sub in an enclosed box in the trunk with a Hertz Mono amp.
Sound is awesome and the Bimmer Tech amp with the DSP is great. I know it costs a bit more than what people have been suggesting about buying say a JL audio amp and separates and such, but I installed everything myself ( used to do car audio back in the late 80's) and it was plug an play. Probably had everything installed in about 2-3 hours. So all depends on your budget. It wasn't that much more considering I didn't have to pay for install. Good Luck.

Any reason why you're limiting yourself to those options? There are plenty of other processors on the market, it just depends on your budget, what features you need, etc
Id pick an Audison bit one over a 4.9 any day but thats because I need comprehensive crossovers, multiple bands of parametric eq, and time alignment/correction. What does the rest of your system comprise of? That may determine what you need. Are you running 2-way or 3-way? Active or passive? |

Any passive crossovers to any of the speaker drivers, or do you plan to run them all active with their own separate amp channels? Ultimately, it depends how many channels you need. These options are limited to 4 outputs, as ctuna mentioned. In this case, I would personally save up a little more to get a different processor that has adjustabilty to more channels.

For an all in one and excellent solution- PP86. There is nothing that Audison offers that remotely compares to the DSP power of Helix.

$1200.00 can get you a very nice 8 channel amp with a signal processor built in at 100w a channel. |

can anyone tell if the proposal JL Audio FiX 82/86 linked to pioneer PRS X340 is good ?
I don't want to take DSP PP86 because there are no exits for the sub! ... but audison cables is a mega burgle ... 150 $ apox. and more .. just want to know if this one JL Fix would be a good front line option |

The sweet spot for most of the better speakers is between 70 and 100 watts per channel . 50 is good but just good enough.
https://www.audiotec-fischer.de/en/m...fiers/pp-86dsp And actually the specs says it has two mono outputs for a subwoofer's. From features at the above link. High-performance 8-channel Class HD amplifier with integrated 9-channel 64 Bit DSP MATCH Extension Card slot (MEC) for additional input / output modules like Bluetooth® Audio Streaming, High Resolution Audio Streaming via USB etc. Smart 6-channel highlevel input with ADEP.2 circuit (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection, 2nd generation) Adjustable input sensitivity from 5 to 11 Volts Start-stop capable down to 6 Volts supply voltage Optical input in SPDIF format with sampling rates between 12 and 96 kHz Auto Remote switch for activating / deactivating the automatic turn-on feature via the highlevel inputs Dual mono RCA output for the connection of an external amplifier e.g. subwoofer amplifier Easy installation via included Plug & Play connection cable Specs Outputs 8 x Speaker output 2 x RCA / Cinch (mono) for subs 2 x Remote Out See page 16 in the manual. 86 dsp has 8 channels two could go to the underseat's
You could go active on the doors or I think you could double up an bridge channels if you wanted more power to the under seats. And still have two channels left for the rears. (non active) Or active to the front doors and bridged to the floors it you are using floors that even require that. If you have real sub with sub amp you would want to use those mono outputs for that. |
