N54 upper radiator hose question
I can’t find the answer anywhere. It’s also been a rough radiator swap....
On the driver side, upper radiator hose, is there a gasket? If yes, which one? I have 2 gaskets and have no clue where they go. |

Edit: didn't see the 2nd o-ring in your picture.
Yes, the coolant hoses use 1 round o-ring inside both ends in the plastic connectors. Not sure where that 1st gasket/sealing ring goes. |

I had mine break on me before, I had to take it out to do my serpentine belt, when I came to install it the rubber O-ring fell and I didn't notice and that plastic ring broke off had to get it from the stealership for 75 bucks, I was in a hurry.

I've replaced mine twice now one time I successfully found the same oring soaked it in hot water and got it to pop on and seal but very difficult. The second time I just bought a new one online for $40 because the plastic broke. I'd just recommend buying a new one.
