N54 upper radiator hose question

I can’t find the answer anywhere. It’s also been a rough radiator swap....

On the driver side, upper radiator hose, is there a gasket? If yes, which one? I have 2 gaskets and have no clue where they go.

Edit: didn't see the 2nd o-ring in your picture.

Yes, the coolant hoses use 1 round o-ring inside both ends in the plastic connectors. Not sure where that 1st gasket/sealing ring goes.

I think that ring is part of the coolant hose, it just broke and fell out.

I had mine break on me before, I had to take it out to do my serpentine belt, when I came to install it the rubber O-ring fell and I didn't notice and that plastic ring broke off had to get it from the stealership for 75 bucks, I was in a hurry.

Into the hose, first go the O ring, then the Plastic ring, then you attach the connector. Nothing is broken.

Could be due to multiple reasons: o ring isn’t seated correctly or is damaged, hose connector is deformed, radiator inlet is deformed, you aren’t installing it properly....

I've replaced mine twice now one time I successfully found the same oring soaked it in hot water and got it to pop on and seal but very difficult. The second time I just bought a new one online for $40 because the plastic broke. I'd just recommend buying a new one.
