Quick, clean and easy Audio install. Thought I'd Share.

Well me and my friend got bored on Saturday so decided to play around with the E90 a bit. So heres a quick Audio install we did. Sorry I didnt take alot of pics and dont have one yet of the finished product but you get the idea. Enjoy!

In the first pic below. We had to cuto out a piece of MDF and wrapped it in carpet so the AMP had a place to sit and be mounted to.

Nice job!

One question - do you have any concerns about the amp overheating in the compartment, since there is no ventilation? Or has everything been OK so far?

No, it wont over heat. The amp on full blast in the heat and all actually stays only warm to the touch. I have been checking it after having used it for the last few days. Everything is so far so good!

Its all connected in the rear. nothing runs to the front of the car. I didnt have to run anything to the front of the car in my 330Ci either. But in the MINI i had to run the remote wire to the back of the head unit.
