IDrive display on map

Not sure if you can do this but the icons you can put on the map appear to be handled only one at a time. By this I mean, seacrch 'Information' 'On location' cars>petrol stations, when you go to the map the stations are shown BUT, I think you cannot add another icon like airports, for example as every time I do this it only shows the last subject. Am I doing something wrong?

You can only have one type of "Point of Intrest" displayed at a time.

I have not found this to be a limitation in normal use, and in fact normally have the POI icons disabled (unless I'm actively seeking one). Less clutter - easier to assimilate the information - more time for eyes on road!

(Added a minute later - I see you're in London - I think you'll find displaying TA info on the map is far more useful than having POIs permanently dipalyed!)

Ok thanks, was used to a Pioneer that allowed me to manage the information I actually wanted. Incidentally, found the TMC service to be inaccurate yesterday on the M40. Wondered how 'real-time' this service is?
