kw v1 - any regrets?

i had koni fsd and eibach pro kit on my last car - 2006 vw mkv gti... was pretty well rounded setup. the ride was terrific - but a tad soft...

thinking about going kw v1's on the 335i - but worried i'm making the wrong decision (vs running the pro kit fsd combo again).

thanks.

I don't think you'd be making a wrong decision here, you'd be getting a full coilover system for only a couple hundred more - with a completely new arm and sleeve and ride height adjustability. Plus a Kw system. The labor will cost the same, for a little more your getting a coilover.

i don't really care about the adjust-ability.. my #1 concern is that the car remains daily driver friendly and the ride comfortable...

I've got a KW V1 setup and it is quite good. I have never driven a FSD/Eibach combo, but I do like the KW V1. Compared to the stock ZSP (Sport PKG) suspension, it is quite a bit firmer. The best trait for me is that the car does not float at high speed (Autobahn) anymore. I hope this helps.

i'm ok with FIRM - i'm not OK with harsh. my e90 is NON ZSP and the suspension is harsh. minor, but sharp, road imperfections bang through the whole car....as if the dampers were blown...
