Jetseal - Water beading after 1 month

I have been complaining about Jetseal not beading after a few weeks (applied many coats, let sit on car for hours etc) and I think I found the problem. I did 3 cars, 2 BMWs and friends Caddy. On all of them, by about the 4th week the beading was almost gone. The problem I believe is Blitz, which I also used on all 3.

So I re did my 2 cars (e90 & e92) last month. This time I didnt use blitz on one of them while the other one I did. Sure enough the one with out blitz kept beading while the one I used blitz on stopped beading. Whats interesting on the one thats stopped beading, after a few more washes it seems the beading is coming back and I havent touched the paint. Its like the blitz is finally almost totally gone and we are back down to the Jetseal which is starting to bead.

I really like the look of blitz but it seems its could be the culprit here. Ill keep experimenting.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of blitz for the great shine....... and protection. It does stop beading I find, but again I don't use jetseal as much anymore, maybe here and there.

jetseal + 50/50 paste wax = total victory.

Then I need to try Blitz. I get nasty waterspots that have to be machine polished to remove. I think I want a product that doesn't bead water.

does sound like blitz could be the problem.

i did two cars using jetSeal w/ nothing on top of it. the first car i washed after polish then two coats of jetSeal w/ a cure time of 30 - 60 mins each, this car is not garaged. the second car, i did a IPA wipe down after polish then two coats of jetSeal cure time of 20 hrs and 4 hrs respectively, this car is garaged

the first car isn't beading well at all and i was very disappointed but the second car is beading well. bear in mind, it's pollen season around here and there is a chance the heavy pollen might retard beading. i'm thinking a couple washes after the pollen season subsides might return the beading.

Try to avoid polishing water spots if you can. Clay it first to see if that helps, then try a water spot remover too.
