N54 335i smoking issues update

On my previous post many have suggested to change my pcv system and valve cover+gasket to see if it resolves my smoking issue before jumping into turbos, so I gave it a try and changed them but still no difference here is a updated video of the smoke if you notice smoke comes out the driver side exhaust first before the passenger , at idle it doesn’t smoke as bad it starts puffing at low rpm speeds , this is a video of reving it at about 1100-1400 rpm. I have catless down pipes and I only got this issue once I got my secondary cats removed, guess they were masking it, would it be ok if I put them back on that way I can drive for a couple months before fixing the turbos if that’s the issue?
Does this look like a turbo issue to you guys? Thanks.

I would highly look into your injectors, cause this could possibly be from leaky injectors. Are you running index 12s?

And I’d assume that putting the secondary cats back on will allow you to drive without as much smoke if before you took them off they were masking it.

I don’t believe they’re index 12 that was one last thing I wanted to do, but I didn’t want to have to replace the o rings on them that is recommend to change everytime you take them out but I’m also burning about a quart of oil every 1.5k miles so I was leaning maybe more towards the seals ?

Could be seats on the valves too. There are some additives for valve steams. Try that. I think people have good results work liquid moly

They will have deposites but not necessarily very black as you say. Is relatively inexpensive so try it. If doesn’t help you are probably looking at turbos

Also if I do confirm it’s the turbo seals will it be ok to just throw the cats back on to mask the smoke again without damaging the motor? At that point I wouldn’t care about the health of the turbos I just would want to be able to move and drive it around for a few months while I get new turbos

I believe so, as long as you don’t run low on oil, coolant, and dont push the car.
