Hi all,
I bought the Dinan exhaust for my 2013 335is and had Ben at RG install it (awesome guy, active on here, and I highly recommend working with him). After two weeks I decided that the exhaust was a little too classy and OEM for me on my weekend driver (would be absolutely perfect for a daily) so I took it off and plan to put on an eisenmann race instead.

Looking for someone in the LA area who wants to come pick it up. As you can see from the pics the system is basically new. No noticeable wear. The product stickers are even still totally clean.

New these are 1300 + tax+ shipping, so you are saving 500-600 bucks by getting them with 2 weeks of use.

Thanks!

Product number D660-0011-BLK

bump - lowered price. now lower than what most folks have charged for their Dinan FFE exhausts that have been used for years rather than weeks like this system.

Yeah the mounting points are the same. The difference is that the length from the rear hanger to the end of the tips. Depending on which e90 bumper you have, the difference is between 3/8" and 7/8". Even with no modification it wouldn't be a real problem - just stick out a tiny bit more. But you could also shorten it yourself. I have attached a screenshot of the documentation that explains the difference.

Thanks!

oh one other comment to add - I actually think having them stick out an extra half inch might be a good thing. in the fitment on an e92/e93, you can't really see the etched Dinan logo on the tips, as they are pretty well tucked behind the bumper. might be a nice look having just a little more visibility.

Will this fit a 2008 335?

short answer is yes, long answer you can see more about above. these will generally stick out the same as stock mufflers on an e92/e93, and stick out a little bit more on an e90. the mounting points are the same across the board (someone tell me if I am wrong, but based on the Dinan instructions I posted, I am pretty confident about that)

thanks!

Looks like it doesn't. Not sure why not, but i guess something about N55 plus xdrive means it doesn't fit. Though that seems a bit odd to me.

Hey!
Short answer is yes certainly. Compared to a stock e90 or e92/e93 335i exhaust, this is a major improvement. Happy to send over a video I took when it was briefly on my car of very light revving (opens up a lot more at high revs but i didn't take a video of that unfortunately). It is a great, classy but throaty note - and it is not valved like the stock exhaust, so you don't have to get above 3500RPM to hear it. As I mentioned in my original post, this exhaust is something of a "classier" upgrade option. I just decided to go crazy instead since I don't daily drive the car and just wanted to go really big with the sound.

Also important though is that it is a meaningful performance improvement. I know any time someone on here says that their butt dyno felt the power increase they get mocked, haha, but I do feel that you can notice the difference quite clearly. And if you want to do any tuning down the line, you will want a free flow exhaust like this to enable it.

On that note, it is important to consider if you plan to do anything else to the car. In particular if you ever do downpipes or a high flow cat, this is your best option. Going with one of the super crazy loud exhausts first, and then adding DPs can make your car borderline undriveably loud (my personal opinion of course). I have a MaxCare warranty on mine, so I wont do DPs until that ends, otherwise I would have kept the Dinan exhaust and amped up the sound that way.

Long story short it is a great, classy upgrade that can be further amped up later on if you want, and enables performance gains as well.

Shoot me a DM if you want to hear the video, and chat more.
