Car cranks but won't start - 2f44 fault code

My battery was shot, wasn't holding charge. The car then cranks but doesn't start. The battery has been replaced, car shows the 2f44 fault code and therefore i think in the first instance we need to try re-sync to DME to the CAS module. The garage does not have the equipment to do this.

Is there anyone around the Harrow area (London) UK able to do this for me?

Car is a 2007 E91 320i

Thanks all

ok all, I have now got the software waiting for a cable to be delivered.

Is it best to do this process on INPA or ISTA D ?? which is easier.

A new battery was also installed, I have been reading I would need to install ISTA P to register the new battery, is this correct?

the old battery was 70AH the new is 77AH

Thank you

You can do all of this using BMW Standard Tools. Specifically Tool32 to register the new battery, and reset the ELV values in CAS.
