E91 Window switches problem
Hi,
I have just gotten a new to me 2009 E91. None of window switches on the doors will roll down the windows apart from the master switch on the drivers door, this one will roll down any of the windows. The other switches will roll up the windows after they have been rolled down by the driver. I can here the relays clicking when I press the window down button, is there some kind of child safety mechanism causing these to lock? The "Lock all windows" button is not activated on the drivers switches. |

I’m not sure but they may just need resetting. Try pressing and holding the switches for all the windows on the drivers console all the way down then hold for a second then press and hold them all the way back up.

I’ve not had to do this for ages so I can’t quite remember the sequence fully. If that didn’t work try holding the switch until the window has dropped fully then press and hold it again then do the reverse for the window going up.

I had the same issue, ended up just replacing the switch with one off eBay and it works fine now. Figured it was most likely water damage from a passenger leaving their window open in the rain.
