I saw 5-6 squad cars are various parts of the highway ready to pounce on my way from the western burbs to Chicago (downtown). The most I have seen in a long time!

Right, what Railgun said.

You are exchanging a guilty plea for a deal - traffic school and the offense drops off if you don't get another ticket within 6 months. Get another ticket, and they _both_ count against you.

and they still take your license away, Udub... unless you have a bond card.

Also, rules do change. What I'm putting in this thread is valid as of 2 weeks ago when I got nabbed for an offense.

You going to school in Madison? Graduated from there.

More stepped-up enforcement today on I90 westbound west of 53.

4 victims in about a 3 mile stretch.

There was a bad accident on 53 at Palatine today, usually what happens after a bad accident is that the state will flood the area with troopers for a while, so be aware of that too.

I was told that you should ask for supervision before you plead guilty... at least thats how my buddys dad who is a lawyer told me how to do it, i know it is a guilty plea but im saying you should at least find out what they are willing to offer you before you admit anything.

i never had my license taken in IL cuz I had my AAA card to give them.

oh and yes i go to school here in Madison

And if you're under 18, you MUST appear with a parent or guardian. I've never seen a judge talk to a minor alone.

maybe i was 18 when it happened cuz my parents didnt come with... although my friends dad who is a lawyer did.
