Good place to tap in for boost gauge...
I know theres a DIY here from hyperM3 that used the "lines running between the factory diverter valves"...
but... is there are any vacuum lines that you guys used to tap in for your boost gauge that DIDNT REQUIRE you to remove stock airbox or remove of the plastic covering in the engine bay?

You don't need to remove anything when pulling the line from underneath the stock airbox. The lines are like right at the edge of the box where there is enough play to tuck it out and pull a line off the y-type connector or DV. Just be careful pulling the line off the y-type connector as it's plastic and the rubber line is kind of tough to get off.

Just put a vacuum T before the factory vacuum Y that splits the lines that go to the DV's. No panel removal required... its right here:
In the photo I have installed a white T before the oem black Y and used 2 extra peices of hose(without cloth braiding)... one to join the T to the Y, and the other one(in my fingers) to the tap of the new T |
