Replacement Drivers Side Mirror...
Hey there, my drivers side mirror was stolen. It's a BMW 3x 28i. Whomever stole the mirror actually did a neat job. The connectors are still in place and nothing is broken.
I wanted to take the car to BMW in Freeport and get the original BMW part, but they won't order the part without me bringing in the car. And it will take 7-10 days to get the part. That would mean taking the car twice to Freeport from NYC which I want to avoid. Is there a way for me to get an original mirror directly from BMW? Not OEM. I just need the mirror based on the attached photo. So basically you just need the glass mirror? Heated? Auto dimming?

Thanks. Seems the glass doesn't come solo. There's a plastic backing where the wires attach to. But it's a good start.

The glass needs the backing plate as Sge92x posted. Is there a chance your glass back is still on the mirror assembly?
Also Freeport is full of shit. You can order from any dealer and they just need your VIN number. They maybe didn't want to order because they don't know exactly what you need. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...f/51167390617/

Thanks everyone for helping me figure this out. I'm all set.
 Seems I wasn't the only one who had their mirror swiped. Same thing happened to a Lexus. And after speaking with the BMW dealership in Brooklyn they said last week a good number of people called because they had their mirrors swiped too. Must be something in the NYC water. Quote:
