Color / Finish on Edges of Open Pore Scraping Off?
Particularly on the front storage console lid. Are the side edges and corners just paint? When I was cleaning, I thought it was a piece of dust but turns out it’s the actual wood color missing.
Anyone know what is used to color the open pore trim? Is it a stain or paint? I’m not going to use touch-up markets because they always leave a shiny appearance. Pictures below. |

I have the same trim but haven't noticed any chipping or wearing off. What are you using to clean the open pore wood?

Even though the lid trim is an individual part that is easily replaceable, the piece is $200! I’m hoping to just color those spots back in, but don’t want to use anything like an ink touch up marker that won’t blend in and leave a sheen on the surface.
