How much are people paying for lic plates / registration for their 335 in Indiana. Trying to get a ballpark idea.

Fox, where in Indy are you at? I've only seen maybe one other E92 335i in town. I know there's got to be more than that.

I am out east in Hancock County, I am generally moving between there and downtown where I work regularly. Occasionally I am on the north or south sides. How about you?

I have seen two 335i's outside of the dealership around here, a gray convertible and another montego blue coupe. I am hoping to get out and meet some people now that the weather is nice. I joined the BMWCCA last week and am hoping to get together with some of the local club members and was considering this drive on Saturday:

but first I have to sell the wife on it, she is wanting to do landscaping/yard work I think.

If you go by the quick quote on the IN BMV site it's between 500 and 600 depending on when you plate your car. You also have to take in to account how much excise you are transferring to the new car.

Yeah, mine was less than $400...I didnt check the exact amount, but it wasnt $600, I know that.

I am not transferring since I sold my last car and there was a month in between so this will be a new reg for about 11 months out of the 12. Maybe $550 if $600 is for full 12 reg.

I just bought my plates last Wednesday 5-7-08 and didn't have a car to transfer from. My plates run through October of next year 2009 and cost me $660.

Damn..You guys are getting ass raped with the registration fees. I payed $143.00 for the plates in January in Illinois, and the renewal sticker for a year is like $ 78.00 bucks.

I'm hoping to get some folks together for a spirited cruise, probably in the Brown county area.
