Hi All-
Anyone within the Chicagoland area get the e90 factory alarm installed after you purchased your car? If so, could you specify dealer/location and approx cost? Thanks, PS |

Yep, that would be us. You can find our E90 Alarm Kit Special by going to our homepage @ www.getbmwparts.com and clicking on the SPECIALS tab. Then go to the E90 Specials section and you'll find that and many other great OEM BMW Parts/Accessories specials that we offer. Thanks!

Thanks All! Can anyone confirm if the activation of the alarm at the dealer enables the lock/unlock chime? From all of the historical posts, once you install the alarm, all components function minus the lock/unlock alert.

I could be totally wrong, but after reading the responses on the other threads.....it appears after the OEM install everything will work and function properly except when you go to lock/unlock the doors for the chime. Guess I'll have to purchase the parts, do the install, and report back.

Dealer quoted me $200 labor, when I take it in Thursday I will ask about the activation of the chime.
