New to coding, and just got a 335i E90.
Hey guys,
I just bought a 335i, which is already pretty much built and loaded. The former owner had the engine built by Motiv and tuned by Jake, less than 20k ago. It has ST coilovers, Hexon RR600's, an M Performance exhaust, M3 suspension, Walbro 450, SMFW with Spec Stage 3+ clutch, SS brake lines w Carbon cool pads, RB External PCV (Welded then machined head ports, BMS occ, aftermarket inlets and outlets, VRSF charge pipe and bov, 7" intercooler, index 12 injectors, performance coils, NGK plugs, new water pump, therm, HPFP, valve cover, FBO etc... He used MHD to tune the car, and thus I will definitely get the MHD app to stick with the profile he's already built for now. I am also thinking about getting Bimmercode, to code the other nonperformance stuff. It seems to be the easiest to learn and use, and does all that I can imagine wanting to do. My question is that I'd like to know the boards general opinion on my using MHD and Bimmercode, and if that will be enough to do most anything I'm interested in doing, which is NOT to go to crazy with it. The car is already making over 600hp, and I have no plans to push it further. Just want a strong car, that I can enjoy. |
